There’s always something fun to see or do at the Canterbury Fair. Here’s a few to spark your interest….

  • Artisan Demonstrations: Woodturning and Carving
  • Antique Car and Tractor Display
  • Canterbury Historical Society: Each year the Canterbury Elementary School Students experience a day  of learning in the Houser One Room School House located in the center of town, and you can tour it as well on fair day! Go back in time and think about what it was like in that classroom and compare it to today’s education and learning environment. Perhaps you actually sat in one of the very seats on display years ago!  The Elkin’s Memorial Building will be open as well with historic artifacts, photographs, and literature to educate you on the town of Canterbury’s rich history. This year the historical society is focusing on the impact of “Summer Boarders” and their role in creating the community that evolved into the Canterbury that you  experience today.
  • Live Musical Performances – Award Winning Belmont High School Robotics Team, Mr. Aaron, Checkerberry Morris Dancers, Linsdey Schust & The Ragged Mountain Band, and Suzuki Strings

                                    AND ….. and… and….
