There’s always something fun to see or do at the Canterbury Fair. Here’s a few to spark your interest….

  • Artisan Demonstrations: Flint Knapper (arrowheads), Basket Maker, Spoon Maker, Beadworker, Dream Catcher Design, Toy Maker, Blacksmith, and Broom Maker. Also featuring belt driven equipment, steam engine, old time planer, and an alaskan chainsaw mill.
  • Canterbury Historical Society: Each year the Canterbury Elementary School Students experience a day  of learning in the Houser One Room School House located in the center of town, and you can tour it as well on fair day! Go back in time and think about what it was like in that classroom and compare it to today’s education and learning environment. Perhaps you actually sat in one of the very seats on display years ago!  The Elkin’s Memorial Building will be open as well with historic artifacts, photographs, and literature to educate you on the town of Canterbury’s rich history.
  • Antique Tractor Display
  • Canoe Polo in the Fire Pond was a hit last year…. will it be this year?
  • Live Musical Performances – details on our schedule
  • AND MORE!
